The national meeting of the EMS occurs each Fall. The EMS coordinates its national meeting with The Mission Exchange (formerly EFMA) and CrossGlobal Link (formerly IFMA) at their joint annual meeting.  The Mission Exchange and CrossGlobal Link are large, evangelical umbrella associations of mission agencies. The Mission Exchange is comprised largely of evangelical denominational mission agencies, while CrossGlobal Link is largely non-denominational. Details on each year’s national conference are posted on the EMS home page.

Regional meetings of the EMS occur each Spring, in many regions in conjunction with regional conferences of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS). Details on each year’s regional conferences are posted on the EMS regional web pages available via the links on the right.

Each year, the EMS focuses on one central topic at their national and regional conferences. Several of the most exceptional presentations given at the various conferences are then compiled into a text for the year and published by William Carey Library.
