EMS is a professional society comprised of missiologists, mission administrators, teachers, pastors with strategic missiological interests, and students of missiology.

Membership Plans
We have several membership plans. They are:
- One-year (must be renewed annually)
- Three-year (must be renewed every three years)
- Student (must be renewed for each year that you are a student)
- Retiree (must be renewed annually)
- Lifetime
After joining, you will be sent a confirmation email. In addition, you will be sent an email two weeks before your membership is due for its next renewal.
Membership is based on the region where you live. After selecting your region and membership level, the Buy Now button will appear. Pressing it will take you to Stripe, an international payment processing platform.
Membership Requirements
Full membership in the Society shall be open to all of the following persons, active or retired, who subscribe to the doctrinal tenets and other requirements of the Society:
- professors of missiology and closely allied disciplines;
- missionary/missiologists;
- mission administrators and pastors with strategic missiological interests;
- students of missiology;
- concerned evangelicals who have competence in any field vitally related to missions.
